He says you can't be perfect. Too many people use that as a justification for not even trying. Striving to be better today than where you were yesterday is a trait that leads to having a successful life. Meade is 40 and yet to become a functioning adult. He should really do these Vlogs for 20 years old and entitle them "Don't make my mistakes or you will wind up like me".
Does anyone really believe Meade has done the best he can with what God has given him?

It is good that Meade claims he will no longer be listening to Vanity. That is a long way from screaming "Y'all just Jealous". Whether he actually follows through is another matter. Meade's track record of "following through" is not good. I'm not saying he can't actually change for the better, but it needs to be seen before it is believed.

It's easier to say that striving to lose weight is vanity. Just as it's easier to say that people with day jobs are boring and unimaginitive than it is to get one of those day jobs.

If I had a son like Meade, I would have sold him to those nice human traffickers in Purcellville when he was 13. I would never look back. I would have made a tidy profit and I wouldn't be burdened by him ever again. He would have become more of a man than he is today. It is a win/win for all concerned.

Meade's biggest obstacle for finding a woman has nothing to do with his goofy looks or the manifestation of his overeating disorder.
