First, Ronal Reagan forbid DNC Democrats, who controlled the United States Postal Service in that time, from operating a debt. He publicly called for them to raise stamp prices to be the ACTUAL COST, and not to go in debt.

DNC Democrats did the opposite, and drove USPS deeply in debt.

I said "i want the cheapest rate for an envelope that's guaranteed to arrive, like with a tracking number or something". I was told by TWO USPS employees definitely my only choice was to buy a $25 Priority Mail Express, since only it was "guaranteed to arrive".

Today the price of delivering a small item (fits in envelope, less than 2 oz), GUARANTEED* is $25 whether it weights more or less it's still $25. IT WASA 25 CENTS or less during Ronal Reagan.

* Guaranteed Delivery is a new term meaning "it costs $25 because we guarantee it will get there". The next lower rate is $11 (signed) then $7.50, which is still far higher than $0.25 one used to be able to trust.

* One used to be guaranteed the mail would not be lost merely by putting a stamp on it "snow or rain, lost and found in tatters: it will be delivered" (ie, not stolen not thrown away because delivery became a liability).

Today, mail continually goes missing - and you'd have to wait on the phone for over an hour just to inquire about it with workers who are all "hey it doesn't pay me to talk to customers about lost mail, get out of my life".

$25 is what FED EX charges for overnight

1,000 % increase to deliver about 2 oz. weight is quite a bit

to get it you'd have to wait OVER AN HOUR on the phone just to begin the process. we're talking about a phone system with employees that hang up if they don't like what your asking for, a phone system that's designed to hang up on you to get rid of you mechanically

DURING CLINTON IT BECAME REGULAR BUSINESS PRACTICE TO MAKE PEOPLE WAIT ON THE PHONE JUST A BIT LONGER THAN THE AVERAGE FLIP PHONE BATTERY WOULD LAST (LIKEWISE IF THE BATTERY DIDN'T CUT THE CALL, BACK THEN THE CALL WOULD BE DROPPED BY THE CARRIER - coverage was much more spotty back then - and dropped calls were common. Businesses began waiting a lengthy time then just hanging up, because most customers had NO WAY OF PROVING who hung up, and with a dead phone battery, no way to call and complain!)

DURING CLINTON the post office became unreachable - you could no longer call the local post office. YOU COULD BEFORE CLINTON.

Today's USPS: "we hire niggers who steal* and illegal aliens with accents, we don't give a damn if your mail disappears, deal with it"

* during Clinton Washington Post wrote articles on increased theft on packages going through DC run by niggers - which included allot of mail from the west headed into fairfax county. the USPS had to totally reconstruct the facility to prevent theft - costing the taxpayer a BUNDLE. check the wash post you'll see my story is straight

i've had ALLOT lost mail too: including legal mail, mostly commercial mail. it adds up. i don't trust them anymore.
