Meade is one of them. At one point in his life, he might have made some side money as a wedding singer, but he just never had the talent or teen idol good looks to make it much further than that.

How can you say such a thing? How the hell does Meade entertain? Who and where does he entertain? Very occasionally he will get a gig at a farmers market working for tips. And he makes a big deal out of it. Why? Because it is as rare as a total eclipse.

Think of Meade as a kid whose parents bought a pool table. The kids plays pool constantly by himself for a couple of weeks and then announces he is a great and talented pool player.

Meade wasn't the type to make girl's 'ginnies tingle like Justin Bieber so he had to rely on his talent to become popular. He just didn't have enough of that to get anywhere with it. Perhaps if he spent the last 20 years getting experience as a working musician, he could be making a decent living as a musician today. Instead, he spent the time shamelessly self-promoting himself and expecting that his fame was an inevitability.

One last thing, the Hipsters were bored with Meade and went off to laugh at someone else a few years before the "Chicken at Krogers' incident. The pancake houses and coffee shops dropped Meade because they didn't think a fat person was good for their business of selling the types of food they sell.
