Well, cosplayers didn't invent silicon valley so i guess "hit" is a good word to use, or "intrude upon" maybe.

if you think it's good news obama decides that handing over the nations advancement and military tech initiatives to cosplay is good? can you imagine the reason why silicon valley was a success in the 1980's is because it was originally full of people who had no time for such things?
