Why do you all care so much about America and all things American?

I don’t hate America or anything, I just never understood the concept of patriotism. I’ve traveled all over the world during my life and haven’t spent more than 4 years in any one country. There’s only about 4 or 5 countries I haven’t been to, and I’ve come to appreciate all the ones I’ve been to for something. I’ve learned that no one country is better than all the rest. They’ve all got something going for them and a couple things that need improvement. It all depends on what you want out of where you live. Personally for me, Cyprus is where it’s at. Very cheap cost of living, low taxes, beautiful women, scenery, culture and it’s in the EU. I can run my business from a beach chair, an office suite or my living room. Once I get my dual Italian citizenship, that’s where I’m headed.

Some countries can be great without all the violence and hatred of America. The problem is the people.
