So apparently Trump has pardoned a guy named Conrad Black, who was convicted of fraud and embezzlement. Left wing media is saying that Trump pardoned him because the guy wrote a book that was highly flattering to Trump, essentially that it was a vanity pardon. I have to believe that Trump had a good reason to pardon a guy who ripped people off other than that he "stroked Trump's ego", but I can't find anything about it on conservative media.

Does anybody know what made this guy deserving? Thanks
