John McCain was a hero in Vietnam. Then he came back to America.

Shortly after being elected, McCain was ensnared in the Keating 5 scandal. Google and read that yourself if you want to know.

McCain pushed for overseas intervention everywhere he could- Syria, Iran, Yemen, Libya. Remember McCain singing "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" ? Find that on YouTube, not good.

McCain also ran on repealing Obamacare and building a border wall. He betrayed voters in a big way on both of these issues.

Being a war hero doesn't mean your shit can't stink later. McCains shit stank much more than most unfortunately.

McCain set his ship on fire and burned his crew to death. He was captured and made propaganda material for the enemy during Vietnam. Then, because of his treasonous acts he was a perfect fit to become a democrat and had a lifetime of turning his back on the American people.
