Cost of One Day in Iraq War $275 Million

We are paying $275 million a day to rebuild Iraq and getting nothing in return. NOTHING! We should at least make it some type of loan.

Cost of 3 weeks of B. H. Obama - several trillion as in $1,000,000,000,000.00. What do we get? Doubled national debt. Nothing else.

We are there spending that money at the pleasure of the kommander in chief... one of his campaign promises was to end the war and even though a billion every four days could be put toward solving our domestic problems he insists on prolonging that useless operation.

I agree with you...this is one of the issues I will hold him accountable for. Though I do not see a viable alternative to democrats on this issue...republikans are the party of war..the military and imperialism.

B. H. Obama will do nothing more than Bush was doing to withdraw troops, but he will call it new "change". Troops were being drawn down with Bush. B. H. Obama will call it new. Hope, Change.

It still doesn't change the fact that Bush and the Republican congress ordered the war in the first place. As usual, Democrats are called to fix the failures of Republicans.

i think it's dumb that people blame just the republicans because the democrats voted the same way as the republicans to go to war with iraq. it's hypocritical for one political party to blame the other for anything because it requires both parties to pass any law.

Still pushing lies about the war.

You forgot the vote in the senate and house. Lots of Ds in the yea list. Senate - 77 to 23 includes Clinton, Biden, Daschle, Edwards, Feinstein, Kerry, Reid, Schumer. Pretty prominent set of liberals voted for the war. House had just as many.

Stop with the lies. Only the ignorant believe lies.

Only one of your four statements is correct. The rest are fallacies. Show your ignorance by guessing the correct answer.

So, where are all of these WMDs that Bush said we need to find?

I don't have them. I thought you had them.

You have a good point, Edgar. It's impossible to assert that Bush could have any imagination at all, let alone to dream up a war of this magnitude.

He strikes me more of the GI JOE-playing-in-the-sandbox type. That's your boy.

It looks like we might have a commission formed to investigate Bush on Iraq. That's what I'm talking about!

Stop blaming Bush/Cheney for the ineptitude of the Democrats. Everyone knows Clinton is responsible for this Economic mess we're in. Only Bush had the balls to take down Saddam. We would be living in a nuclear winter right now if it wasn't for his courage!

I'm so glad I read this forum. In the past week I've been totally informed about:

1) Bush isn't responsible for the current economic climate

2) Bush did a great job with Katrina

3) Bush's war with Iraq saved me from nuclear winter

What's next- Bush upheld the Constitution???

And Bush is to blame for 9/11. It happened more then a year into his administration and in that year he allowed the intelligence community to become lacadasical...his attorney general even told underlings to stop bringing all these terrorist warnings to him. Rod, they were asleeep at the wheel.

Klinton kept reappointing Greenspan, right through the times he had interest rates so low for too long and planted the seeds of the housing bubble. Reagan appointed him initially, but demokrat bill Klinton rolled right along with the financial irresponsibility. Much of the mess we are in now can be traced back to faulty policies of Klinton and going back further to Karter.

Congratulations. You clearly outed yourself as a bonefide idiot and tin foil hat wearer.

Please refrain from further idiotic responses until your loosely-defined "leadership" actually does something right.

I, like you, am waiting for our leadership to do something right so we are firmly in agreement. My President my Leader, is President Obama as he is yours.

You poor desperate republikan...none of that makes any sense. The reputations of Carter and Clinton grow with each passing day....where as Reagan and Bush....well...Reagan was the first idiot president...he did such a "wonderful" job he is now the patron saint of all idiot presidents...and dont forget his first and most honored disciple...the second idiot president...W Bush.

There is no doubt in my mind that this country would be in much better shape if Carter had won a second term. We would be more independent of foreign oil. The middle east would be a more peaceful place...the world economy would not have collapsed. We are just beginning to feel the impact of the deregulated world fashioned by Idiot the First....our food is poisoned...banks are failing...no one is inspecting imports. You republikans should be ashamed of yourselves.

The AFganies kicked Russian ass...we didnt...the Berlin Wall probably would have fallen any way. Plus it is debateable whether the collapse of the bloc really improved our security...after all it fed Arab militants.
