For stupid millenials:

* kurds & croats et all had a brutal war several years ago

* turkey had been a mix of whites and muslims - has been re-written by "muslim spring", muslims now in control of politics there, and they took hostile actions to get there

* there was at attempt to unseat erodigan/muslims just a few years ago, but armed muslims quelled the uprising
