I sure hope Afghanistan isnt Obama's Iraq. This sure could get nasty real quick.

yes let him ally himself with Moscow. That should go over very well with the Afghani people with long memories of the last Russian adventure there.

at least Afghanistan has a POINT. That nation's been harboring terrorists and its no secret. The Pakistani-Afghani border is the #1 place to get the CHEAPEST and biggest supply of AK47s (or any other weapons for that matter) in the entire world. who do they sell to, largely?? You guessed it. Terrorists!

so....what is it we have to do to claim victory in Afghanistan and then get out? ANother "democracy"? Bin Laden's head ona plate? Will we ever be able to get out?

There is no victory. History is just a recording of the endless conflicts and wars with sporadic peace between people. Victory is just an Illusion.

THen we would need to go dark ages on them, wipe out all thier men and boys. impregnate all their women and occupy the land forever. But I dont think the families and army wives back home would like that,
