Bailout bank Plans Vegas Trip for Employees

This kind of thing is getting disgusting. I am tempted to close my Wachovia account over this.

Treasury should either take back whatever TARP money they loaned Wells Fargo / Wachovia, or sell out whatever equity they bought to prop them up. Let them beg with tin cups in Vegas.

Hey, going through a bailout is very stressful, who can blame them if they wanna play a little blackjack to help take the edge off?

Maybe they can use poker chips with pictures of Bernanke and Paulson on them?

They were booked at The Wynn? That place is fucking swanky. It's the nicest hotel property I've ever seen.

Maybe they are trying to win back some of the billions they lost.

The fact they'd even consider this is pretty ballsy.

Did anyone NOT expect this?
Many of the banks scheduled to receive bailout money don't even want it and those that get it are holding onto it.

So far, the bailout has been a total disaster.

the sense of entitlement that the big CEO's feel and the fact that they were getting away with this sort of thing for so long shouldnt surprise anyone.
