Granted, he sucks, but I'd like to see him have at least a moment in the sun.
Is there any way to get him some publicity, outside of him flippin gout and doing something violent?
I guess the best hope is that they find his father's body in the freezer; whether Meade killed him, or the old guy died naturally, Meade wanted to keep getting those Social Security checks. This would also explain why Meade 'can't afford a cleaning lady', when he seems to have money for balloons, lots of bad clothes, and shit like that. A cleaning lady would probably notice a dead body.

The Kroger's story is old news and perhaps a publicity stunt taken too far. Meade was never banned from Krogers, and its questionable whether or not that was even his Tumblr blog.

Let's face it, the Kroger's incident killed whatever was left of Meade's career. He was flying high after "Sweet Tea" but then that happened and the press picked up on it. He hasn't bounced back sense. His "Coffee Shop Country" album flopped. So did the movie he was in. He didn't have a speaking role in the film. So he was has been who never quite ever was. No one wants to support a bigot. Businesses backed away.

Sure, guys who look good on the cover of Tiger Beat have become successful with less talent than Meade and a good PR man, but Meade doesn't fall into that category. He was never going to be the teen idol type.
What he needed was to actually get involved in the music scene 17 years ago when he turned 21. If he had gotten the experience of hanging out in clubs and playing several times a week he might be a working musician today.
But Meade longed to be a 'Star' as opposed to being an actual musician.
