How long should one hold a Grudge?
Posted by: Old Beefs ()
Date: April 14, 2014 10:37PM

Is it healthy to still be fighting angry after almost 10 year? How soon until someone forgives and forgets?

Petty stuff. Girls. Money. Trust.

It's OK to be mad but for how long?

Love is fickle.
Revenge is forever.

You don't want someone to hold a grudge, don't do something to deserve it.

I'm like that too. I truly believe in forgiveness, but there are times when I won't ever forget a wrongdoing. Like the time this little hispanic guy stole the tires off my jeep. From that day forward I will harbor extreme racial hatred against those filthy spics. I will be forever racist, some might say.

Those fuckin beaners would rob you blind if you give them a chance. You can't trust them one bit unless they're doing something manual like picking vegetables or putting up drywall. They get drunk and litter everywhere too, their houses look like shit.

Hard to say. I myself am utterly incapable of forgiveness, even theoretically it strikes me as nonsense. Given that I have a pretty good memory, I can't count on forgetting.

I am capable of not giving a shit anymore, but that takes time. Shit from high school? Can't be bothered, it was three lifetimes ago. That said, I have a few outstanding issues almost that old, should I encounter these guys, it's ... not gonna go well. Also an ex who I'd rather not speak to who, last I knew, thinks I was killed overseas. Really don't want to speak to her again, although I realize she was just being who she is.

It began at the Harvard Club, in Manhattan.

Forgive the Japanese for Pearl Harbor already...

Forgive the friend who "stole" your girlfriend 20 yrs ago, he did you a favor..

Forgive the friend who owes you $100, the write off is worth it, and it could have been $1000..

You must have a mental statute of limitations, anger over almost anything should dissipate after a year or so, or it gets unhealthy.

Few things should you hold eternal grudges about. Murderers shouldn't be forgiven, or someone who steals serious property.

Move on, find new people to be mad at.

Look at this hate mongering hate filled piece of shit wanting to lecture others on forgiveness. A right wing rabid animal if you've ever seen professing about the need to forgive and forget and be in harmony,

These motherfuckers crashed us into a great recession and fucked us and then spend the next 8 years obstructing like it was everyone elses fault for their stupid party.

Now they want to lecture on forgiveness.

yeah just wait for the price of gasoline to skyrocket and for good to go sky high then we'll see whose kissing Obama's ass and among for forgiveness. see how things start going with ten dollar gas and pack of franks for dinner every night. sounds wonderful

What is a Republican going to do about high gas prices? Instead of telling me conditions that may have a political impact on the opposing party, tell me what your party plans to do about alleviating those conditions as an alternative.

Asking a Republican for solutions to anything is like talking to a wall. Give the rich more tax breaks is the magical solution to everything under the sun.

Never, anger inevitably fuels ones power.

Voodoo has some value but if you aren't naturally gifted with magic it'll be hard to get enough mana to really do someone harm with it.

My advice? Train in the dark arts. Do some sacrificing, blood sacrifices have always been an easy way to connect with malevolent forces but you need to be sure before calling a demon by name, they may not want to share a body and then you're into possession level agony; because once you merge your soul with a low to medium level demon your power levels will go way, way up but that's it man. No going back, not without a real sacrifice.

I can literally see in pitch darkness and I've got a death blade that my demon gave me. I'd also estimate I can lift 3000 lbs and I heal from my injuries immediately. It's really the best thing that's happened in so long.

Yeah it burns with the fire of a thousand souls but when you're half human half demon and hellbent on revenge, not much hurts anymore anyway. I've met people with the ability to teleport short distances as well, so you can say oh this is just bullshit but I've seen in with my own eyes which can see in pitch darkness thanks to my demon soul.

There's some not so good stuff about selling your soul for demonic strength, but you WILL have your revenge. That I promise. And power too. Beyond your wildest dreams. But never, ever do it though.

you wouldnt' say that if you were in a prison for political reasons near someone in for murder who'd killed other inmates

-------------------------------

Please explain to me how building the keystone pipeline is going to lower the costs of gasoline.

they will keep telling you they are considering whether it should be built until it is already up and running, too late for you to get in, and

and the "investment funds" they needed to make the thing is quitly hidden in your standard deduction, nebulously in the taxes

A woman, like an elephant, never forgets, and knows EXACTLY when to remind her "significant other" of past misconduct, often involving drunkenness, flirting with other women, and acting like a complete idiot.... events, of which, she will describe in elaborate detail, as if they had occurred only yesterday, and not ten years earlier.

Women are good at this... very good.

When someone is mad at you but they won't even tell you WHY they are mad.

How am I supposed to fix the problem if you won't tell me what it is??? I try to guess and you get even madder!!! What am I supposed to do now???? How can I fix this if I don't know where to start????

If you're going to call me a bitch, please call it to my face. I can take it. you're the bitch if you're just going to smile in my face and say it behind my back.

If you're going to spread rumors about me, you better make sure what you said is true because if I find out from someone else you're lying about me after I confided the truth to you.....yeah buddy.

And if you love someone- TELL THEM TODAY. They might not be here for you to tell them tomorrow. Go ahead and ask your crush out for coffee. Worse that will happen is they say no- then it's on to the next one, now you know, and don't need to waste any more of your time. Call your mom/dad/grandparents/brother/aunt/whoever you got in your life. Take a senior citizen out to lunch. Give your best friend a hug and ask them if they want to talk about anything.....AND LISTEN TO WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY AND TAKE IT SERIOUS. Give fido and fluffy an extra treat and some extra playtime today. Feed your fish some extra flakes today. Bring some birdseed for the ducks at the park, bread makes them bloated. Share the love. Too much hate in this world!!!

I'm a family man; just ask my third WIFE. I'm a freakin' Santa Claus at PetSmart with a goddamn white beard, for God's sake.

Before I became Santa, I was into S&M with my second wife. Whips, pain, nipple piercings, genital mutilation, and some other shit. Notice the word, WIFE? I am not gay.

I wouldn't know; I don't drink coffee.

The couple of times I've had it, I've gone crazy... jumping around, dancing, too happy, too friendly. I was nice to strangers. So, I don't drink it.

BUT, I do love Starbucks' Cafe Vanilla Frappuccino drink.

I order the medium, or whatever the hell they call "medium", but ask them to put it in the large (grande or venti.... so stupid) with lots of whipped cream.

Damn, fucking good. They know me at my local Starbucks and they know how I like my whipped cream.

I absolutely completely love whipped cream.
