Meade is not a completely failure

He never gives up. He has been in a movie, got write ups in well known blogs and publications, and has made a name for himself in Richmond. Just because he's not world wide famous doesn't mean he is a failure in life.

The things you have mentioned all occurred years ago.
What has Meade done lately?
He has achieved as little as anyone who has devoted the last 20 years full-time trying to get a career in the Entertainment Field could possibly achieve.
What is your definition of "Failure"?
a 38-year-old man who cannot support himself because of pursuing a pipe-dream as opposed to doing something constructive with his life certainly fits most definitions of 'failure'.
