Truck Taxi?

I've often wonderred if I could start a kind of truck taxi service. A lot of people need stuff hauled. Maybe I could just put up a sign like gypsie cabs used to do in New York. Maybe I could hang out at auctions or 7-11's anywhere people ned old junk hauled. I'd do it cheaper then the got Junk companies.

Haven't you seen those signs on every stop sign and telephone pole in the county? I'm pretty sure there's enough "competition" that you couldn't do it for any cheaper than they're already doing it.

I heard of one service that will haul an entire pickup truck full of junk for $25. But I'm guessing that stuff ends up in the woods along Georgetown Pike or in some empty lot in Sterling or something.

I used to see signs for "Two Guys with a Truck" around here, I always assumed it was a junk-moving service.


I guess you could make some cash doing that. Whether it's worth the effort or not is up to you.

He's just one guy. The shit has been building up in DC for 50 or more years.

It might be easier to just haul everything that ISN'T shit out, and start over in some new patch of land.
