Fewer illegals coming = labor shortage?

Media is reporting significant drop in illegals crossing the border since the election. It would seem there should be labor shortages in construction, cleaning services, and farming given these actors dependence on illegal immigrant labor.

Yet there are no reports of business in these sectors having trouble finding labor. Meaning the constant influx of illegal immigrants is not needed for our economy to function.

What gives?

PLENTY of people here to do that.

Make the welfare recipients pick the crops. You want free food/housing/medical care on and on then go pick some muhfuggin vegetables.

Just the illegal immigrants on welfare would be more than enough.

I think the point here is that these illegals aren't taking the jobs nobody wants, because those jobs seem to still be filled.

So what are the illegals doing that come here?
