Eating human brains has the potential to create a condition not unlike Mad Cow disease, called "Kuru".

Kuru is a Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy , defined by the presence of protein matter known as Prions. Once in the brain, that's it baby.

If the CNN reporter really ate human brains, well, the incubation period could be a few years, but once the tremors, loss of balance, and headaches start, he might as well order his pine box. It won't be a peaceful ending.
