and in massive debt, can you think of any reason why you wouldn't commit suicide, fake your own death or flee the country?

Gerry is in his 60's and meets all those criteria.

Liberals prefer to torture the earth with their existence instead.

don't think you can or need to fix everything in your life, in one day or one week or month or year. try to do something every day that moves you a little more in the direction you want to go. in the same way, you need to learn to limit the amount of stress youre going to place on yourself to change things right away. assess what you *do* have right now (health, relative youth, ability to make friends and relationships, living in a wealthy country) and focus on those.

Appreciate the suggestion about the church, but i'm a secular (barely religious) jew, so i dunno. i guess we jews need to corner even the total fucking loser market. god my life sucks. anyone have any tips on dealing with anxiety? i've gone to shrinks, been on meds, have even tried cbt, and just spent thousands of dollars i'm still tr ying to repay with zero progress. if i could deal with my anxiety/stress i might be able to speak to another person at work, and communicate successfully, or in an interview. i just don't know if i'm even being realistic thinking i've got any potential hope there. how do you change such a fundamental part of yourself for so long in your 40s?

We all have anxiety deal with it. Man the fuck up, what is so bad in your life that causes you crippling anxiety? Quit being a pussy and just do it. Go take a vacation, go apply for a job, get off FFXU and make it a point to not return until you achieve a little goal you set.

I suspect a lot of your anxiety is caused by you not getting laid. You should diet and exercise, become a vegetarian and walk a few miles every day and eventually join a gym. That in its self will have you feeling a lot better. Once you're in shape get on Tinder or plenty of fish and find a fat girl, fuck her right in the pussy!

Another option is to take a 1 year vacation to a 3rd world country and that may change your view on life. Even a loser like you would have no problem getting laid in a shit hole like the Philippines.

Actually when i was getting laid i had ever worse anxiety, and stress, for the fear of losing my job just made me feel that much insecure. worried about whether she was cheating on me, going to leave me. i'd get phone calls from her "we need to talk" and i literally would vomit i was so stressed. horrible experience, would never want to relieve it. having sex/relationships isn't remotely a priority for me right now.

i have bad anxiety because apparently it's genetic and runs on the family.

no matter how much i would prep for a job interview, and i would imagine worst case scenarios, what's the worst that could happen weith reason - not counting a meteor hitting the office- the actual interviews were always much much worse than my worst case scenario. horrible experiences.

the only thing i was ever good at was being a student, and that's not a job let alone not a career. and how could i be a professor if i cant do public speaking? i'd come off as an idiot, my anxiety makes me look like an idiot.

Xanax.

If not xanax, a good INDICA strain of cannabis. You may be locked to the couch- but you will feel like talking and laughing! LOL. Watch comedies and LAUGH. Chapelle Show, or any classic standup comedy, just look @ youtube if you dont have the money for netflix/amazon. You sound depressed a bit.

Or go run/powerwalk until you are physically exhausted (and i dont mean just up the block, I mean do MILES) then take a long hot shower and sleep WELL a good 8-10 hours. Repeat DAILY. Lift too, to help you with your aggression.

Set small goals "I will do 3 job applications today, I will wash ALL my dirty clothes and bedsheets today, I will then clean the kitchen tomorrow, etc" and before you know it you have a clean house and some people calling you about a job interview. That helps too, a clean living environment. Smoke weed and put on great upbeat music, and dance with the broom/vaccum it makes the job fun.

good advice other than the first one. the last thing someone with anxiety should be doing is taking drugs or drinking. even xanax will only make things worse.

i already have a serious drinking problem, though that's ending. doesn't help things. i don't even enjoy it anymore.

I thought this thread was about Chuck Hoffmann. He's 48 and hasn't worked since 2008.

Chuck has a kid, and owns multiple homes and doesn't have crippling anxiety.

Chuck works for the CIA. Are you stupid, or did you not already know that he was a gov't employee?

Tell us, eesh. Will life be a little more difficult when Trump appoints the new NSA director?

I hate to point out the obvious, but eesh, Miz and Mo will be spending time in federal prison once the changing of the guard takes place.

Not only them, but their directs. It only takes a simple package to make its way to each the Senate Intel Committee, the House Intel Committee, the new CIA director, Pompeo, the "to be named" new NSA director and the White House Staff, under Trump's administration.

Trump would love nothing more than Obama go down, especially given his disdain for sloppy intel and wasteful special programs run by the CIA/NSA.

The proof is not in the pudding here. It's in the shitty coding.

Thanks to my CIA neighbors, I know who Eesh really is. Hint: last name is not Basl. That was the Austin Powers Intel director.

William Moreno is only 34, and he has already attempted suicide several times. He may not make it to his 40's...in which case this forum and the world in general would be much better off.
