3 years! His teeth are still fucked up. Notice how some are recessed back on his upper row? He could have gotten real braces and been done in 2 years for about the same cost.

His teeth look okay, but not nearly as good as they should for that kind of money. Invisalign starts at 6,000$ They are white at least. White is nice.

I just went to the dentist yesterday, they said my large amounts of Red Bull has eroded my enamel.

Invisalign are clear, not white. And fees are totally dependent on how long they anticipate you'll need them. I know someone who paid $4300.

Regular braces cost about $5,000 plus or minus a few hundred. They would have fixed his problems faster and probably at less cost.

So they no longer look like this?

less known fact: you can grind teeth without anesthesia if you are carful, ie to avoid bite occlusion (though polishing should be done (obviously no need of anesthesia))

i had a dentist i was paying cash intentionally gouge my teeth with a sharp pick tool - and i'd only talked pleasant talk to. marks still visible. said it was "cleaning"

to those of you that don't know that's a great way to cause carries (decay) by giving bacteria a hard to clean, unpolished, path to quickly drill a small hole toward the root (pulp)

i think it was racial, i think she was trying to do damage she could later "fix"

he got a VA grant to start a practice though not a citizen (oh how many medical students would be angry to hear f'ing foreigners got a practice under the table !!! )

the assistants runing the MANDATORY yearly x-ray (though i said i'd just had one they said ok we'll get it: when i got there they said they didn't know what i was talking about and i must)

the assistants were recent graduates of gov loan dental school: annandale and they spoke pretty good english and were obviously in love. or were they really graduates?

so next day i there's a strange soar exactly opposite of the x-ray target. flaking skin

i look at pictures of radiation burns, the milirads, and i think: damn it that's why i have that weird burn in my mouth exactly laser pointer opposite of the direction of the xray. took days to heal. ouch.

i call the dentist to warn them they might want to calibrate their x-ray it might be having problems

but the secretary, who knows everything about x-ray tubes and such, immediately told me there couldn't have been a problem

well that's enough for me if she said so.

on a similar note: fx. hires only foreigners and DC people at x-ray screenining station at the courthouse. exactly who will do anything they are told however facist the command
