i cant say this without sounding racist but it's a stereotype come to life.

it looks better as a limo that those regular caddilac sedans done up. Im sure he has good reason for such a vehicles. he's propably had more threats against his life and he's not even president yet...and most are are from hillary...

Back to the topic. There really isn't that much difference (estetically speaking)
between Obama's Escalade limo and the DTS model they have used in the past.

Actually, this vehicle has been in development since before he announced his candidacy.

I'm sure there's some fairly regular schedule of replacing these vehicles as new types of armor are developed, new threats identified, etc. (in fact, they may retire each car as the president leaves office, or something, so it can be part of the artifacts in his library.)

There was a documentary on discovery or military channel a few years ago about the whole fleet, including the SUVs the secret service use -- on one of them the rear passenger door opens downward to create a "gun platform". That's pretty cool.

There's no such thing as a V14. It is powered by a 6.6L Duramax (Turbo Diesel) V8. Yet, it's still dirt slow with a 0-60 of 15 seconds flat. They should have gone with a Cummins, IMO.
