I go to Target a lot- and I just notice the presence of Hipsters there. Now, isnt this a contradiction? Target is a national chain store. Its commercial and corporate. It goes against everything the Hipsters stand for. Yet there they are- shoppin' away. I would expect them to be at the thrift store instead. But I wonder if its their way of rebelling against Walmarts.

I've noticed at Tarshay a lot more goofballs with weird piercings and too cool tats and that fashion style I can't describe but see on a lot of doguhy suburban 20 somethings who spend too much time in front of screens.

I think these "hipsters" like Target because its not WalMart, the nations biggest subastandard employer and shiller of cheap Chinese products. Its the second largest.

I'm no hipster just a regular middle aged lady but I love Target. As soon as i walk in I get my Hello Kitty fix in the baskets of cheap chinese stuff. Then I head for the women's workout dept. and look for warmups and girl wifebeaters. Then I slip over the the pajamas where I just drool over Nick and Nora pajamas. I love them so much. Then it's on to the household necessities like toilet paper, paper towels, laundry deterget, cat litter, light bulbs. Almost done! Except for I must have some Boots makeup. I am learning about eye make up and target has some cheap brands thyat I can play around with. ( I lost my eyebrows and eyelashes due to chemo so I have to be artistic and do some drawing.)
Oh and I buy all my gel pens there. I only write with purplr or pink. I wish I could write with pink or purple fontshere. It would make me so happy.

I like Target, but let's be real. It is really just a cleaner and nicer Walmart. I can't stand Walmart, but I will shop at Target, no problem. It's clean and there usually aren't a bunch of toothless hillbillies spending 20 minutes trying to figure out the self-check lines (seriously, it got so bad at the Walmart by my house that they now have Walmart employees ring these idiots up at the self-check lines. Too much lead in their diets, apparently).
