Had this conservation a while back with a black friend. He didn't like the idea at first but he warmed up to it.

Let's look at the facts---


1) Obama's father was not African-American, he was from the ruling class in Kenya.

2) Obama Sr. didn't even like America enough to stay.

3) Obama Jr. grew up in Hawaii and Indonesia. He probably never even saw the hood until he lived in NYC or Chicago.

4) Obama never really grew up with brothers. No family reunions, no BBQ's, no barber shops. He was just some stoner dude in high school. Probably listened to a lot of Journey and Pablo Cruise.

5) Obama's mom was a leftist weirdo. She didn't seem to like America much in my opinion.

6) Obama's grandparents were nice enough to raise him. (Still he called his grandmother a "typical white person". Really, a typical white person would have persuaded her dumbshit daughter to ABORT if she got knocked up by some Kenyan scumbag.) LOL

Really, let's be honest. Many of us white guys here have spent much more time in the hood or around black people than little Barry did. Though this doesn't qualify or disqualify him or anyone else, I think that fact remains- Barack Obama is NOT a brother...

I heard an old radio interview of Dingle Fairy from maybe the 80's, he had a totally different speech pattern. Wish I could find it, he sounded very different.

Using the phrase "folks" all the time is a Chicago and Detroit thing. I think he mimicked someone he heard along the way to have a little more of a downhome sound.
