Here's a question that I've struggled over for years. I've tried to find the answer and couldn't so I'm tossing it out for opinions.
If you ate nothing but fat you'd probably have really high cholesterol right? So if you are really fat,go on a diet and lose a ton wouldn't your cholesterol go up while you are essentially living off your own fat? Any guesses? Anyone actually KNOW the anser?

No, your cholesterol would not go up. High cholesterol comes from the parts of food you intake that your body does NOT use. If you are "living off your own fat", your body is metabolising that fat, and it doesn't contribute to your cholesterol levels.
