It ( The Lamb Center thread ) explains in detail over and over by many that have been posting over the last three years, explaining how and why the LC is a total waste of donations and your matching tax dollars.

The 3,000 plus homeless on any given day in Fairfax, are greatly helped by the Lamb Center, which has partnered up with multiple churches, businesses, even schools. When you have public schools even involved, you know that its obviously helping so many, whom just need the basic of necessities.
Guests at the TLC are often gainfully employed, but cannot afford the $1,200-$1,500 one bedroom apartment every month in this area, as that's roughly the minimum, and doesn't include utilities. Others have gone through a painful divorce, lost everything in a disaster, so any one of us could literally end up relying on the TLC services.
We are all one paycheck away, and with the cold coming, Facets will also be providing shelter to people needing it. This world isn't perfect, in many ways it sucks, but the TLC and Facets have helped people survive and thrive.

Sam was at The Lamb Center on and off for almost four years. During that time, he went through a number of treatment programs, but he had trouble staying sober and keeping a job. As a Navy veteran, he had been working with Veteran Affairs to get into its recovery program… but was unable to do so.
He heard about the success another guest, Dave, had with sobriety at a Church Army program in Branson, Missouri and asked if we could send him there. We did. After being in Branson for about a month, Sam called to let us know that he is sober and doing very well in his recovery program.
Sam told us about the fear and tears he had the day he left to go to Missouri. Even though his fear of change was great, his desire for a change in his life was greater.

I truly enjoy sharing the good news when I experience miracles taking place at the Lamb Center. Some of these miracles almost seem to take place in front of our eyes while others unfold over decades and seem to be full of false starts and setbacks. “Morgan” came to us after serving many years in prison because of a drunk driving accident when he was 19 years old that took someone’s life.
Morgan surrendered to the Lord while behind bars and he was deeply committed to sobriety when he first came through our doors. From the start, he was a regular at our Bible Studies and Alcoholic Anonymous meetings.
Before long, Morgan landed a job at a local grocery story and we saw him only occasionally. He has now advanced to a managerial position at another store. When I saw Morgan recently, I discovered that he is friends with the daughter of “his victim” and they sometimes go to AA meetings together.
The names and photos have been changed to protect the dignity of those involved.
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him.
