Jiffy pop comes out ABSOLUTELY FUCKING PERFECT if you pop it over a medium sized can of sterno. You have to keep the pan moving in a vigorous circular motion. The sterno flame is the perfect temperature and your jiffy pop will come out ABSOLUTELY FUCKING PERFECT if you follow my advice.

Dude, stop wasting our time, go to the store,
spend $1.59 on the generic store brand 3 pack of microwave kettle corn,
come home, put the bag in the microwave for 195 seconds... and done.
Buy some coca cola to drink with it... enjoy.
It is not that hard. Just do it.
AND THEN COME BACK AND TELL ME THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT EASY

I pity the loser who knows what prison toilet tastes like and
I laugh at the idiot who admits in public that they know.
As far as an opinion form a convict?
That is the last thing anyone needs, go away boy.

Get a bag of popping corn from Walmart for maybe $2. Get a kettle that has a lid, and put enough oil in it to just cover the bottom. Turn the heat to about medium. Add enough popcorn to just cover the bottom of the pot in a single layer. Put the cover on and wait. As it pops, just hold the lid and swish the pot around every few seconds. Best popcorn ever, to me. Then you can add salt and real melted butter or a little bacon grease. Old school way, but I love it.
You can also make your own microwave popcorn using the popping corn, tsp of oil, and a brown paper bag. You can add whatever seasonings you want too. 2 1/2 minutes in the microwave.

Jet a stovetop popcorn popper - by far the best tasting. Microwave and prepackaged aluminum shit is all toxic and yes, tastes like I imagine unwashed ass would not that I would know about that.
They are cheap. Also you only add a table spoon of oil so its pretty healthy. Pro tip add super fine non-iodized salt in the pot before popping with the oil.

A hot air popper beats everything else hands down:
- No burned kernels.
- No unpopped kernels.
- No added fat, unless you choose to add butter to the finished popcorn.
- No guessing how many minutes or seconds to program the microwave.
- No obnoxious smell of burned popcorn if the microwave goes too long.
- No messy pot of oil to clean up.
- Easy to set up. Just plug in, set a bag or container under the output chute, and wait for the corn to finish popping.
The only tricky bit is setting up your receptacle for the popcorn to go into. Disaster could ensue if things aren't aligned properly. I use a paper grocery bag inside a plastic bag.

Best way is to jut do it on the stove top in a pot, all those goofy gadgets are a waste of space.
Just put a tsp. of olive oil in the pot, throw in some corn in a single layer, turn the heat to medium, and put the lid on. It'll start popping in a bit, then just wait until the pop noises start to attenuate, and it's done. Way cheaper than microwave popcorn and all ya need is a pot, something you already have in your kitchen.

Of course a bowl would work, but a bag can be carried out to the kids' playhouse, can be thrown away after use, doesn't need to be washed, and no risk of breaking if the bowl was ceramic or glass.
