Best new show on TV - Mama's Boys

I am thrilled with this show. I love it. It's way better than The Bachelor. The racist mom and the black girls are seriously gonna get into a huge fight (I hope). Who would name their son JoJo anyway. This is the best entertainment.

The broadcast networks keep putting shit like this on the air and then bitch about their ratings. I can't wait until the debacle of the nightly Jay Leno Prime Time Variety Show puts the nail in NBC's coffin.

Why anyone watches any broadcast network is beyond me. Other than for the nightly news, of course.

I guess it's like junk food. Lots of people like to eat junk food, and can't figure out why they keep gaining weight and having health problems.

Same with TV. They keep watching garbage and don't realize they are getting dumber and dumber. Garbage in, garbage out.

Btittany Fuchs from right here in Fairfax is one of the women told by the producers to fight over the fireman. The show turned out to be a huge embarassment for her, and the George Mason day-hopper will be riding low for a while.

I watch TV to be entertained, Bob. And I am not fat!!! I may not be some big intellectual but I am hardly some dum dum. ( well math is hard for me!) Sometimes people just need to escape and watching shows like Mama's Boys is the perfect remedy. I like Intervention too.
The only nightly news I watch is Acess Hollywood.

PS. That Brittany Fuchs is really going to GMU???

I wasn't saying that watching junk TV made people fat, or anything. I was equating junk TV to the mind as junk food is to the body.

That being said, in moderation, it's okay. But too many people consume ONLY junk TV or junk food. For every twinkie or My Name's Earl, there should be something healthy to balance it out, you know?

In general, the stuff they put on the on-air networks is lowest common denominator, dumbing-down, easy to consume junk. Sure, it's entertaining, but if that's all you ever watch, you're not doing your mind any favors.

ok Bob, look life is hard people slog to work or school then off to another McJob then they slog home and help out thier kids. They really really dont need to be watching some depressing felini film or Documentary on why the Wild spotted wood cricket/wolverine Hybrid going extinct is fucking up the planet. People want an escape from these dark and difficult times harry potter. Got that? If someone wants to take his mind of his 401K tanking or thier mothers hospital bills for 30 minutes and watch Rock of love charmed school I say more power to them.

I thought it said something else. Particularly, about where the nasty trailer-park slut prefers you to aim, or something like that.

It's called an analogy, retard. For someone who thinks he is so smart, you come off as an over all jack ass!

Fine. I never said it had to be foreign films or documentaries on birds. But there's less mind-numbing stuff out there that is entertaining without being stupifyingly simple. Military Channel has some good stuff. Comedy Channel seems dumbing, but it's much less dumbing than the on-air networks.

I watch some shows, once in a while, like My Name is Earl, or Family Guy, but try to balance it out with stuff like "Beyond Tomorrow" that shows all sorts of cool new technology, or shows about space exploration, or whatever.

But seriously anyone else watch Rock of love Charmed School? It was awesome! that blonde chick with the dyed pink hair was HOT. Sharone Osbourne was pretty cool but not the crazy bitch from the Osbournes we've come to know and love. An even better show would be Stalker of Love Meade skelton. Could someone follow Meade around with a camera and film him as he stalks girls HE LIKES! Not only would it be entertaining to see him get bitch slapped but it would get filmed evidence to get him some restraining orders and possibly psychological help or jail time!

Stalker of love; Southern Charm School. AWESOME!

Huh? You, uh, got me??? I'm not sure what your point is, on this one. Did I say it was anything else?

Did you want a reward for figuring out that I was making an analogy? Good for you. Your mommy must be proud.

Or, are you mad at me for not spelling it out for you? I didn't realize we had slow people on here who demand that all analogies be properly labeled.

Here, is this better:

ANALOGY ANALOGY ANALOGY
ANALOGY Junk TV is to the mind as junk food is to the body. ANALOGY
ANALOGY ANALOGY ANALOGY

Is that better for you?

At least I know how to spell stupefy, idiot. Your retort is sophmoric, at best. You lash out as if you have the emotions and maturation of a child. Grow the fuck up, loser!

If you're going to ride in on your high horse of great spelling, use a spellcheck on your own comment, first.

I'd give her a 5. Too bad about the plastic. Why mess with '
reality tv on broadcast (which really isnt) when a subscription
to the Playboy Channel is available?

I hope that's a 5 out of 10. And even that's being a little generous.

Obviously these shows are not spontaneous. A lot of the contestants are
actor/actress wannabees. That being said, it is nice to have entertainment
that provides escape from the harsh realities of these times. One of the nicest
people was the girl that opted out when she could have stayed. I was wondering
why a sweetheart like her was even selected when she clearly stated she did not
want children. And I find it hard to believe she really wore her hair the way
it was on the show. It is silly to think that these men will really do what
their mommies say. I liked Lorraine at first until she started throwing fits.
I really respect the men who show respect for their parent but also know what
they want. But since the women are coerced into following direction as far as
who they would like to be with, then I wonder if the guys do the same. I find
this much more entertaining than the balding rockstar Brett Michaels who constantly covers his head with bandanas and cowboy hats. I sure it has to be a dissappointment when the headgear comes off. I originally found this blog when I was trying to figure out who the announcer/commentator is for this show. My guess is that it is Clay Aiken. This show is produced by Ryan Seacrest. Very
interesting!!!

Eeew the more I saw that megan with the braided Mennonite hair, the more I hatd her. It was nice that she knew she wasn't a hot tubber, partier type girl and took over the cleaning. Those other girls seemed uninterested in the domestic stuff.

Then when she was called to the pool ceremony, I figured out she was nuts. Her emotional melt down was crazy. What guy would want a girl as kooky acting as her. That other girl just hanging there should have pushed megan the Mennonite right into the pool. The brown haired girl had thick healthy hair, was not stick thin, and had very genuine facial expressions. megan needed to go. I'm a mom and she would be the last girl I would pick for my Little Pat Pat. He likes the wilder types, I am sorry to say. My guess is he would fall for Brittany or the flashy blonde.

And that brown haired mom Lorraine. First show, she was as hot as one of the girls. Successive shows == total lack of grooming. Sorry to be so catty but these shows are like my entertainment or my life.

Hugs,to BlueBonnet,

Trickie

I just can't understand why anyone would allow their parents to decide who they're to date, it's just ridiculous to me. It's unfortunate that people choose that path. I just can't see the sense on having a black or white friend, yet they're not good enough to date. To be honest parents who have those thoughts shouldn't be giving any opinion at all. Most of all I still don't think it is wise to allow your parents thoughts because everyone act different behind close doors. Every men is different when they're dealing with their partners, whether good or bad. Parents have 2 role and that's try to understand and love unconditionally.

This show cannot compare to a similarly named sitcom gem - Mama's Family. Obviously, I am not the only one with good taste:

I'm curious as to what happened to them. Dork 2 went home early, why? And now let's see, 'Penthouse Pet of the Year', yeah well at least she wasn't a transexual or something like that. Three days with her, I can see that being a problem. Jews and Blacks don't match. It's not racist, it's just the way it is. Girl or entire family. It's tough expecially if you are planning on havaing kids. All you really need is a Jewish mother to know that. Speaking from experience of course. Hell last's a lot longer than just your time on Earth when it comes to that stuff...a Jewish mother that is. Also, what about the fathers? didn't any of these nerds have fathers?
I watched the show. I don't watch reality shows, but I made an exception because this seemed interesting. I would watch it again. Nerds, gotta love 'em.
