This comes up every so often, and the truth is that no one will be sued, because hiring an attorney to pursue such a case will cost many thousands of dollars if not tens of thousands of dollars.

If you're thinking that an attorney would take such a case on contingency, well, you're absolutely wrong. Lawyers take cases on contingency when there's a good chance that they'll collect a big, fat fucking pile of money when the case is settled.

Since the libelist doesn't have a big, fat fucking pile of money, or in fact any assets to speak of, no lawyer would go within a country mile of this case without banking a significant retainer beforehand.
