I'm sure you would look at it differently if you understood what he went through. And it's not like the Romans chose crucifixion as a means of capital punishment because it was the humane way to it. It was a horrible way be put to death. You're not being honest about it because you don't like Christians. I get it. But you sound foolish saying it was easy.

but jesus was not the only guy ever to be crucified. they crucified a heapin' helpin' of guys back then. before and after jesus got treated rudely. so why all the emphasis on his death and the way the italians hit him and poked him with thorns? why the crucifix? why idolize that? isn't the real pain jesus experienced the betrayal in the garden? why don't you wear a tomato or a root-a-begga around your neck instead then? that's why i'm saying jesus had so many emotions. he was probably really sad when whoever betrayed him betrayed him. not because he got tired and bored and a little hungry hanging from a cross.

i think jesus was very emotional. he had so many emotions. he was very emotional when the guys were being rude to him. that's it. that's the thing.

Or maybe jesus' legend was softened quite a bit. the area of Gallilee he came from was known for rabid anti-roman militancy. the Romans don't just crucify anyone. they tend to go after those who incite violence against the state and get a following.

If Jesus was here today, he would drive a Chrysler 300 with 22 inch rims.
