Employer reduced my leave accumulation and didn't tell me..

I just noticed that since January this year I'm accumulating like .5 hours less leave per two weeks. It was about 4.6 now it's 4.1. Should I say something?

What's your maximum accumulation that you can carry over? Ours is 480 hours. Used to be unlimited but it's being reduced. I'm maxed out and take Friday afternoons off each week to stay just under the limit. At 12 weeks I have like $36K in vacation time banked. If I said I'm going to take it all at once, I'd be told to not come back.

You should say something since you are already the most fucked over employee of any country on the face of the earth when it comes to vacation time. Blame Republicans, those assholes helped create these work conditions.

Yes, I haven't taken a whole week off since sept 2012, so it kind of sucked when i noticed the leave. Might get laid off in April anyways if we don't get this contract we bid on.

Only 2-1/2 weeks vacation a year? That sucks.

My company is saying we have to work a certain number of hours a year, and they pegged that at 1850 - the number they bid us on contract and the point at which they base their profits. If you start with a standard year (2080 hours), subtract holidays, the regular vacation, etc., it gives us no margin for any sick time, so effectively we have no sick leave. And anyone who's accumulated additional vacation time and might want to take it in a given year can't since doing so would put them under that 1850 level. Our carry-over is maxed at 240 hours. What are others maxed at?
