These are the same knuckleheads who probably also cheered when CVS announced that they would stop selling cigarettes.

Additionally, a good majority of this council are probably behind the support of legalizing marijuana.

Just another form of government coming into our lives and choking off the freedoms. I'm not a smoker and don't really care to be around smokers. But I also don't try to dictate how they should live their lives. What they want to do is their business. If these knuckleheads want to force smoking cessation classes onto people, it just tells me that this council has way too much time on their hands.

I wonder if they will proceed with the plan when those same lawyers tell them they have to pay many of those workers for attending those classes.

Need to do the same with fat people.

And people who drink. Doesn't matter how much.

And cyclists. That shit's dangerous.

I've had a question burning away at me for a long time now.

Okay..more than one question.

What can you do with tobacco except smoke or chew it?

A lot of times tobacco is compared to alcohol but alcohol has many uses beyond drinking. What other purpose can it serve?

And more so, if tobacco has no other use than ingestion in one form or another and causes so many horrible medical problems, why does our government not only allow it to be produced but actually subsidizes the industry?

A joint is arguably more "healthier" than a cigarette, in long term effects. The short term effects are certainly more interesting, too.

Regardless of the health effects, we all have to realize that government needs to stay out of our lives.

There are plenty of options for people with weight issues. If they have a doctor and insurance, as well as some great options for getting education on weight management, one can learn good habits. Stay away from the Jennie Craig places and work with a registered dietician and things will work out quite well.

People have to realize that they have to schedule time in their lives to take care of themselves. It doesn't matter if they're a super hero by working 15 hours a day to make money to keep up with Joneses, if it will result in a much earlier death.

Again, government needs to stay out of our lives.

Does this include pole smokers? There are several that I would like to refer.

Subsidies are in the form of crop insurance, the same as other crops get.

And Star Scientific: they do dietary supplements.

They're next. Once the country is rid of cigarettes, the pole smokers will be next on the Democratic "hit list". They only had to be good to the pole smokers long enough to get elected as that was all they needed from them.

And?

Is that your final answer to my question(s)?

Come on people!

You can do better than this.

Why hasn't tobacco been outlawed off the face of the planet if no one dies from quitting but everyone does that doesn't quit?

You can't build with it, paint a car with it, knit a piano cover out of it. You can ONLY ingest it in some fashion.

What's the deal??????

What am I missing?

If you're a government worker, you kind of deserve it. They should make you pay out of your own pocket, too. I mean, compared to what you've spent on cigarettes, it can't really be that much.

Potpourri.

Supposedly it can also be used as an insect repellant in organic gardening. There are claims to possible medical benefits, but haven't we heard that before?

That everyone dies from something?

I will answer your question but first I need to smoke a cig, take a shot of tequila, smoke a joint, water my pot plants, sell a bag of meth, shoot up some heroin, fuck my landlord for april's rent, snort some cocaine and write a letter to the fuckhead POTUS and I'll be right with you to answer your question.

Wait. What was the question?

My drugs. My life. My choice.
