If it is an act, then he is a method actor. Having met Meade in person, he is exactly as he is in his videos. Same kind of mannerisms, speech, and everything. He has noticeable trouble making eye contact. I don't know if maybe it might partly be an act, but part of it is definitely how he is. His antiquated views on race could be because he was raised by parents born in the early 1930s who grew up in Richmond.
