Fairfax Underground tie-ups possible with merchants?

Given that Fairfax Underground has a decent audience, why doesn't the site tie-up with merchants and get them to offer us discounts and coupons? It will be a win-win for all, no?

Please, tell us one local merchant that you can think of that would be proud to have the name of their business tied to Fairfax Underground.

Only businesses that are completely clueless as to the nature of Fairfax Underground attempt to advertise here, because they're rapidly and ruthlessly flamed when they do.

cary has always insisted on keeping the site ad free and being able to post anonymously. it's a shade under a decade in and i dont think that's going to change.
