Submitted for your consideration, the first recorded interaction of eesh and JBass (from the April 2011 thread,
Professions that let you argue/debate for a living).
How did a relationship which seemed to start out on a relatively positive note turn so bad so quickly?
Turning now to their second interaction, here:

we see that things began to go sour when JBass dared to question an almost palpably bristling eesh about the particulars of contemporary military culture.
Specifically, about the ready availability, or not, of tabasco sauce.
Of such small provocations do great battles come.
Indeed, the shit fully and permanently hit the fan in only their third meeting:

Here we find the recurrence not only of the heated tabasco debate, but also a new, more dangerous topic: JBass's work history.
Ironically, it was the very fact that JBass told the truth about his work experience which enabled eesh to ultimately prevail in the battle.
In retrospect, the contest was unequal from the beginning.
Like a lion foolishly choosing to fight rather than retreat from a hunter with a high-powered rifle, JBass never had a chance.
Such is the law of the jungle.
Such is law of Fairfax Underground, red in tooth and claw.
