I would prefer to work for a male because generally women are more difficult to work for, there's an underlying competitive current that exists, even though I could care less. You would think women would try to help one another but no, I think they see another as a threat, which is sad really.

In a very general sense, your second paragraph answered the question in your first paragraph.

Women are extremely competitive against other women (and even against themselves.)

My belief is that women are treated more harshly for being overweight because both men and women prefer attractive women. For men, looks are not as important, and in some ways, being overweight is overlooked in men, and of course there's always the image of the jolly old fat man. I can't think of any parallel in women.

Women are still coming into their own, hence the competitveness. Women are just now feeling comfortable enough not to take the last name of their husbands upon marriage representing ownership. Until women gain equal pay,indepedence and overcome the abuses they endure by society and one another they are never going to feel totally equal. As it stands now women can't do the same thing as men without being abused for it, ex. buying a man a drink at a bar, just a little thing, but a horrible experience. But no one would say a thing to a man. I was treated worse by the female bartender of all things? If a woman is strong or assertive, she is automatically called a bitch, or crazy, or whore, or anything to cut her down. This is not right, This is abusive and man's way of trying to control women once again...sick, isn't it?

Really Demi Moore and Ashton, and there are alot more famous ones. Just as many

Yes, it is an injustice because the injustice is not equal or fair. For your information I don't eat Ho-Ho's. I wasn't overweight all my life either only as a result of abuse, I find I eat when I'm not even hungrey. I won beauty pageants when I was younger but if you hook your wagon up to the wrong person in life it can be devastating to one's self image. Love is like water to humans as water is to plants. Those people you see around you in life suffering, overweight are hurting and sometimes something as simple and free as love can be their cure all.
A kind word, a smile, gesture or just a simple acknowledgement could be all one sees in a day and could make a difference for them, and yet you don't think twice about such deeds.

I was at a company event once. This fat chick was out on the dance floor flailing around. Suddenly, she fell down and acted like she hurt her back. The ambulance was called and a gurney was wheeled in and she was taken off to the hospital. A gal who I worked with went with her to the ER. Turns out there was absolutely nothing wrong with her and she was released after a couple of hours.

I had to attend a techno-conference at the Crystal City Marriott while
NAAFA was having their convention. It was a sight to behold. I watched
a 500 pounder get out of a cab with the help of the driver. Then the
driver opened the trunk of the car which was packed with groceries
from Safeway. There were also groceries in the front passenger seat.
The bellhops brought a cart for all the food and took it to her room.
The restaurant was featuring "lite" fare that day just in their honor
but it was obvious they were double ordering everything. The next day,
I saw the same woman arriving in a cab full of food again. Two of them
were walking (or waddling) in front of me in a hallway and I could not
see light between them. It took me a few days to recover my eyesight
but when I found out the Swedish Bikini Team had stayed there the week
before, I felt cheated.

This is kind of absurd, when you think about it. Over-eating is a deadly addiction and obesity can be as fatal as cancer. Having an association like this would be the same as having the Crackhead Appreciation League or the Raging Alcoholics Affinity Council.
