What is it about him? I feel he is mis-cast many times. I'm not saying he is terrible but take for example the following movies...
Boiler Room - just couldn't beleive he fit in with the boys crew.
Flight of the Pheonix - whats with that accent?
Contraband - didn't buy his role in that.

What say you?

He's an okay character actor along the lines of Dean Stockwell and Sal Mineo. Successful enough to be known but not landing the kind of roles that would lead him to be considered "great."

Sorry forgot to include that I thought he was miscast in Avatar as well. I just don't believe him as this "big rich or tough man" role he is always acting.

I love this guy. I think his best roles are when he plays a creep/weirdo. He was good in Perfect Stranger...he was a stalker freak in that movie.
