Anyone ever put up a bat house? Good, bad experience?

These bats are great when all the bugs come out at night.

My parents have several at their place on the Rappahannock River.

Work like a champ.

Takes a couple of years to get them active though.

Thanks. That's what I thought, it wouldn't be instant bats at the house.

I discovered a few in my attic. You can tell by the droppings on the floor. They are actually very benefical and I see a number of bat houses in the neighborhood attached to trees. Funny thing about bats is that they look big in flight but when you see them close up they are the size of little mice. And they will never get stuck in woman's air, their sonar is too good.

If you are going to build one, just make sure to have anti.rabies vaccination on hand.

Yeah, they are kinda small. I have one that comes out at dawn and circles the house. He looks about the size of a palm of a hand and has almost transparent wings.

Blessed are the murderous.

Because I have a need to go on the internet and pretend I have bats at the house, right?

Blessed are the murderous.

No, that's not the reason.
