No cheese here.

I know this is probably a cheap play but the Rudy soundtrack was so epic. I'll have more. I just brainstormed this idea.

I cried when he found his family dead and hanging. The music was awesome in that movie. One of my favorites. I love Russel Crowe.

The best movie soundtrack in the past 5 - 10 years is by Eddie Vedder. It's the soundtrack for "Into the Wild." Awesome stuff!!

In many respect, the music made the film.

This is a pretty good little documentary, which discusses the music
around the 1 hour, 5 minute mark.

plus factor for Psycho.

Hitchcock originally wanted the shower scene to be played with sound effects only, no music.

But this approach fell flat at screenings.

When the music was added, it became one of the classic scenes in the history of movies.

almost always had strong/interesting music.

In their differing ways, each of these films made outstanding use of music:

2001
Clockwork Orange
Barry Lyndon
The Shining

Ah yes..."Last of the Mohicans"...a movie that contained such fine dialog as..."STAY ALIVE! NO MATTER WHAT OCCURS! I WILL FIND YOU!" and...

"How'd you know which way was West?"

"Well, we just went straight for awhile and real sudden like...turned left..."

Also, Cooper's book on which the film was based, due to its age has got to be one of the most difficult books to understand...Modern English James, do you speak it?

None of which has any reflection on the film's music. Performed by Clannad as I recall...excellent choice.
