The dude who wrote copy is long gone from that job. I haven't stayed in touch with him, or any of those guys.
The higher you go up on the ladder - such as scriptwriting - the harder it gets.
Back in the day, they were always hiring at LFP. They also publish (or used to publish, I haven't kept track) straight magazines, like some rock magazine I can't remember the name of. (Oh yeah, it was "RIP". I don't know if it's still in print. I heard a lot of stories about this guy:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lonn_Friend, who may or may not have moved on from LFP, I can't be arsed to read his longwinded bio).
If you check out the masthead of the LFP publications you're interested in, and sent samples, a cover letter and resume to the relevant people, you might get lucky. Professional and sober-minded works better than trying to be cute.
A quick search suggests this might be a another resource for getting your foot, or other member, in the door:

If you dig around on the web, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a discussion board for people who work behind the scenes in the porn biz - graphic artists, copywriters, etc.
That's all I got.
