More Republican Grandstanding

So a gaggle of Republican 'representatives' are on the Capitol steps DEMANDING that the Senate get beck in session - NOW - at 4PM Sunday. Of course, they're all from the goober states that would benefit most from Obamacare.

How can anyone take these clowns seriously? Could these people be any more ridiculous? They all sound like they just came from whipping up a batch of moonshine. God, those voices! Someone needs to man up and pull the hook on these people.

Hey goober...I'm not Gerry, I'm not Mittens, I'm not anyone else. Sad that you can't wrap your pea-sized brain around that.

Please go back into history and review the period of 1995 and 1996. Bill Clinton was the president and he voted a bill that he didn't want to sign and the federal government was shut down for 28 days.

How come the Liberal mindset has problems remembering events in the past that involved THEIR party?

Not possible. They'd rather cut off their fingers so they can't type than to admit what happened back then, how it figured in with the Contract with America and how that surplus the left and Slick Willy have been living off of for years really came to be.

And the events of 1995/96 have what connection to this thread?

that's an easy one. in neither case are the wingnuts even remotely connected to reality. by all means, shut the government down. democrats need the house back in 2014.

How soon they forget. You know as well as I do that the 95 shutdown was caused by that pompous ass Newt Gingrich grandstanding like that pompous ass Ted Cruz - largely because he was asked to exit the rear of the Presidential plane instead of the front. That was just too much for his enormous ego.

And to round out the picture, Gingrich put forth a completely unacceptable budget that decimated social programs. Of course, Clinton wouldn't sign it. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

And you may remember that this was the beginning of the end for Newt Gingrich, who will go down in history as the joke that he is - just like that slimeball Ted Cruz.

Time to let the Republicans Engineer a solution. Trust them. They are engineers.

HA!

The GOP doesn't do math.

The GOP can't understand basic science.

The GOP doesn't grasp Economics.

The GOP wants to re-instate the Confederacy because it needs a second chance.

The GOP path to a solution to all our problems is through obstructing votes, blocking contraception, invading women's wombs, denying health care, shutting down the Government, defaulting on debts we have already incurred, preventing male anal intercourse, denying science on manmade Climate Change, and making sure Indian-first-generation-Americans are not declared Miss America - because they don't look right.

They got a decade of tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans - and after more than ten years of shit, and recession, they still say it works -er- worked.

HA!

Even the Pope, Chief of the Pedophile Clergy, is saying all this focus on shit social non-issues is a great big fucking waste of time and energy.

Instead of shutting down the Government maybe we should shut down the GOP and the Tea Party?! They are the Muslim Brotherhood of America.
