It does not need money but so long as AIPAC holds power, Israel the hobby horse will continue to receive infinitely more money than it ought.

The whole concept of a Palestinian free state is fueled by anti-Semitism. The majority of people that see Palestinians as good guys hate or at least dislike the idea of a Jewish state. Supporting Palestine is akin to supporting Al Qaeda.


Israel and Jordan are the only two decent governments in the Middle East. Our next closest ally is Saudi Arabia, and they only tolerate us because our gas pumps pay for their palaces and Rolls-Royces.

Our unconditional support of the Israeli state has guaranteed their continued arrogance and unwillingness to seek peace with the Palestininas. Every effort by the Israelis since the accord signed with Egypt has been thwarted by those who gain more from war then peace. It is time to withdraw ourunconditional support and make the Israelis negotiate honestly.
