Wasteful. Rockets are expensive.
Of course, nobody spends as much money to kill one enemy combatant than the US. Smart weapons and aviation fuel is expensive stuff.

To OP, how is this less civilized than our method of endless money spent in court appeals and executions occurring decades after a conviction? Then we pump them full of animal-killing drugs or electricity? How is that less civilized?
