Generally agree with you. Under "Best" I would probably add pretty much every song from "Houses of the Holy". Great fall Sunday morning drive album.

Really? You have 9 Zep songs listed as the "Best"?

There can be only one "Best".

Agree with most of them, but Dancing Days was always one of my favorite Zep songs. I'd also add The Rover, and I've always really liked In The Light. Sick Again is definitely on my "best of" list too.

Tea For One, Hats Off to Roy Harper, and Hot Dog are songs that instantly get skipped as crappy LZ tunes.

edit: Out On The Tiles belongs on the best list too.

"Out on the Tiles" is a good pull, Meeper, as is "Sick Again".

"Tea for One" not so bad, it's really just a rewrite of "Since I've Been Loving You"

I should've listed that too, it's always been a favorite.

Zeppelin has way too many highlights to make a best of playlist. It'a easier to just include all their albums and then delete the 2 or 3 duds from each one.

Ozone Baby is another good one IMO

Wingnut, Over the Hills and Far Away among the worst? No freaking way, the lyrics plus the steady guitaring, electric, bass, and acoustic+Plants kick ass vocals, that's by far in the top ten best.

Never liked OTHAFA that much. I still love America though, honestly.

By the time they get to the third or fourth "boom da da boom bah" they've lost me for lack of imagination. I do like the crazy slow down ending, sounds like a harpsichord or something.

How about "Night Flight"? Always liked the drumming there.

JPJ needs a shout out for keyboards on that one and for "Trampled Underfoot". I think it's a clavinet he plays. No bass on that song I believe, killer howling solo by Page.

That's odd to me. Seems like a hard song to be ambivalent about.

Could see why people don't, or think it was overplayed.
