It seems there's a core of about 18 to 30 posters who regularly (every few days) visit and comment on Fairfax Underground. During the overnight hours it thins out greatly, with about 4 to 6 people making the bulk of the posts.

This is not because I've crunched any data or anything; it's just my gut feeling. If I actually give enough of a shit or if the grant proposal I've submitted goes through I'll actually do a rigorous formal analysis of posting patterns.

Actually, this site is a form of cheap therapy. Where else can you go, let of some steam and not have to be politically-correct? This site is the polar opposite of what we face in our daily lives. While all of that is true, THIS website IS his life. The people who post here are his life, even if he doesn't know them, he feels like he does. Why else would he drive 100's of miles JUST to see where other poster's live and what their home looks like?

It's his only form of human contact and he feels close to these people after doing extensive reseach about them. He's like the paparazzi and everyone else here is like a celebrity he secretly admires, he's our own Parez Hilon. He wants to be involved with people who actually have lives, families, friends so that he may live vicariously through them.

This basically sums up how I've come to view eesh over the last few months as well.

Some say that without eesh there would be nothing going on here, but I would gladly take the many posters that he has run off the site over him any day. Would you rather have one guy that posts ok content 24/7 or ten people that don't post as much, but keep the discussion varied and interesting throughout the day? Eesh's running off of posters also has indirect ripple effects. For example, I'd hesitate to guess that many folks who haven't been directly hounded by Mr. eesh have also left due to the fact that, because of him, there is a much smaller group of regular registered users then there was in the past.

As I said, I'd much rather have many people like Jbass, Conie, ferfux, Ahmayzin, betterthanyoubitch, Genevive, friskydingo, Harry Tuttle, bloody blisters, Gravis, the grammar police, and so on over one eesh.

I dare say, eesh has become the new Mr. Misery, driving away posters en mass. He just uses a different strategy.

Eesh is not like Bane, he's more like George W. Bush. He lead us into war under false pretenses and erected a puppet regime to support him. He took the goodwill of the forum (9/11/his persecution by inkahootz), and wrote himself a blank check from that to retaliate against any and all dissenters or undesirables under the pretense that he's been attacked before and must defend himself and the forum against such future attacks. When all the while, he is the true war criminal. Eesh would make a great politician. He already failed to serve or was dishonorably discharged, in disgrace. He has all the qualifications.
