Ronald Reagan was a Socialist!

How many people here knew that? Ronald Reagan twice expanded the EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit) and called it "the best anti-poverty, the best pro-family, the best job creation measure to come out of Congress." The EITC is a refundable tax credit. That is, the federal government sends a check to some people who have income but pay NO federal income tax. Since Republicans are so fond of naming things after him, I wonder if we could talk Russia into naming something after him. Maybe the Kremlin? Or maybe we could rename the IRS the "Ronald Regan Wealth Redistribution Agency."
