This in effect pulls the rug out from under McSame. I could see her splitting the republikan party right in half in 2012. she sees herself as heir apparent and i am sure the likes of romney...ridge see it quite differently. i wish her luck.

Don't worry, though. She'll only be president until the Mayan calendar runs out and the world blows up in Dec 2012.

Expect all the dirt that the McCain campaign has on her now to start coming out in November and December. The Internet buzz is that she won't release her medical records because she has had an abortion. If that's true, she will be radioactive.

The former Bushies are going to be brutal during the post-mortems. We'll hear lots of stories about how shockingly unprepared she was. I'm not sure I buy the abortion bit, though. We've heard quite a few rumors that didn't pan out. It wouldn't make a bit of difference to me if I were a supporter, but it sure would to her base.

Ummm not quite. The "Heir Apparant" words were released by the RNC to the right wing talk show hosts as a talking point after the VP debate. Rush, Sean, Michael, Bill and the rest called her the "Heir Apparent" to Ronald Reagan.

Funny how things change.
