I know you are walking on that Highway to Heaven with your good friend Michael Landon. My dad says he used to play football, who knew!?!

He played Mr. Garvey on Little House on the Prairie and had his own TV show in the 80s. He also made it seem manly to order flowers.

I knew he played for the Rams for a long time but never realized he was a hall of famer.

Father Murphy, you bastard!

You are lucky that Michael Landon and his inflamed pancreas don't rise from Hell to smite you.

Most of you are too young to remember the "Fearsome Foursome" of the Rams back in the day. But back in the era of Sonny Jurgenson and Jim Brown, Olsen was as fierce of a defensive tackle you'd ever see.

When I was a kid my mom tried to tell me that Merlin Olsen used to play football, and I didn't believe her. I didn't believe her when she told me "Hunter" used to play either; I told her he might have played basketball, but not football because he was so tall. Silly child that was me.

There are a lot of Hunter episodes on Hulu.com.
