I would have really enjoyed the film if everyone around us wasn't talking amongst themselves the whole time and/or checking their smartphone every five minutes. We'll have to go to see it again early one morning. Sigh ....
Just saw The Conjuring tonight. I thought it sorta stupid, I think the demon doll that sat through the whole film was more scary than the witch bitch that possesses mothers.

ha, I agree. It started off good & creepy, but winds up relying on too many special FX and a predictable Hollywood plot. I still liked it but thought it would be a little more original.
The scene where the frightened young girl thinks she sees someone in her bedroom was freaky.

I thought the backstory on the witch was dumb. The husband catches her stabbing her infant with scissors, then she runs outside, declares her love for the Devil, curses the land, and then hangs herself. Lame.
Most everything out of Hollyweird lately has sucked donkey dicks. It's either a sequel to the 6th power or a 4th time remake. Or it's something that is just bad. I dont take chances with movies anymore when it costs north of $50 to go and get some junk to eat. I'll wait until I can watch it at home.

You must be one fat fuck eating $35 of junk food in two hours.
Wife and I saw it Thursday night at Tysons. I liked it ok, but it definitely didn't live up to some of the hype I've heard. I didn't feel ripped off, but if I'd waited for DVD it would have been ok.
