Clinton FAIL War on Terrorism

Timothy James McVeigh (April 23, 1968 – June 11, 2001) was convicted of bombing the Alfred P. Murrah Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995, as revenge or to inspire a revolt against what he considered a tyrannical federal government.

The bombing killed 168 people and was the deadliest act of terrorism within the United States prior to the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Why didn't Clinton declare a 'War on Terrorism' and seek out all the militias?

Seeking out all the militias in the US would have been a political and security nightmare.

There are some real nutjob militias; BUT, it would have been perceived as the government waging war against its own citizens, and would have confirmed the paranoid rantings of the right wing groups.

Remember the ATF raid in Waco? If Clinton had done what you proposed, that fiasco in Texas would have repeated itself in the hundreds or thousands.

Which militia group was involved in the bombing? TO my knowledge..none. You expected Clinton to go after them anyway? Thats a republican strategy.
