Are the republicans really blaming Pelosi speech for causing them to not vote for the bill? McCain couldn't get 1 congressman from his state of Az to vote for it? Bush only got 4 from Tx? What the hell?

Pelosi's remarks were unnecessary...but hardly the reason for anyone's vote...one way or the other.

It's an election year and a majority of the young freshman Republicans care more about what their ignorant constituents want to boost their own popularity versus what's best for our economy. This bill is viewed as a raping of taxpayers, when in fact, most of the red states do not understand that the credit markets are tied into EVERYTHING.
