My friend's got his driver's license got suspended yesterday. How or what he has to in order to get it back?

One of my buddy had his trial yesterday and he told me that his license got suspended for up to 30 days starting from yesterday. Has anyone ever had this kind of experience and if you did, what does he have to do in order to get it back from DMV? He told me that the judge told him that he could pick it up after the 30-day suspension period is over at DMV.

I love how all these people always come on here looking for legal advice for their "friends."

Fairfax Underground: The "Friendly" Site

Tell your "friend," the person with apparently no voice for himself or Internet connection, that he has to pay a reinstatement fee to the DMV after his term is up and only then will his license be valid.

I had a reckless driving ticket earlier this year. The judge was really cool, considering I was driving 76 in a 35 (approaching the main toll plaza on 267), and she only gave me a $100 fine and a 30 day suspension.

You (oh, I'm sorry, your "friend") can go to the DMV on the same day of the month on the next month, and pay the reinstatement fee. That's all you need to do.

Also, you might be able to petition the judge for a restricted license to go to work, the doctor, etc. But it's only a 30 day suspension, you're probably better off just chilling for 30 days. (oh yeah I mean your friend should just chill for 30 days).
